Hope is a very powerful thing just as being hopeless is also a powerful thing.

Today I’m going to talk about hope not hopeless. Both are real and both you bring you very

different result. Choose to be hopeful.

It will carry you and move you. It will provide you vision and strength. It will energize you and it

will keep you sane and alive. It will cause you to be brave and courageous. It will cause you to

make good and wise decisions. Hope is a supernatural force. I believe Hope is a gift that God

wrapped up with Faith.

When I think of hope I think of the P.O.W.’s that endured years of torture but still hung on to

hope or someone that has been adrift for over 45 days in the middle of the ocean in a raft

surviving on rainwater. Or the single mother of 3 that has a mountain of bills and a dead end job

and believes everything is going to be okay. Or the 1980 US Hockey Team that beat the hockey

team from the Soviet Union which had won the gold medal in the last 5 Olympics many thought

were unbeatable. HOPE IS POWERFUL it causes miracles to happen.

There are 100’s of 1000’s of powerful stories of Hope. I probably should correct that comment

and say there are 7.3 billion stories of HOPE or at least there should be. You see 7.3 billion

represents the population of our planet Earth and if each of us search we should be able to

quickly find something to be hopeful about. What if each and everyone of us could be a force of

hope and everyone of us became extremely hopeful. Imagine what that would be like. That

would be a powerful story of Hope.

The Gulf Coast Cross Project will write a story of hope and we want you to be a part of this God

story.

We believe the most powerful symbol of hope throughout the world is the cross of Jesus.

Be filled with Hope.

Romans 15:13 May the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the

power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
